The Rev. Dr. Katrina Grusell, Interim Rector

The Rev. Dr. Katrina Grusell will serve as Interim Rector for St. Andrew’s and St. Paul’s over the next 1 to 2 years during the search for the next rector. Katrina is a trained interim rector, most recently serving as Rector of Christ Church in Binghamton, NY. She is canonically resident in the Diocese of Maryland and lives in Ellicott City where she was Associate for Pastoral Care at St. John’s Ellicott City and Episcopal Chaplain, UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County). She joined St. Andrew’s and St. Paul’s on April 1st.

Ordained October, 2022
Jennifer was ordained a priest on Saturday, October 3, 2022 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Baltimore. She has served at St. Andrew’s since September 2020, starting as a ministry intern while a seminarian. She graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC in May of 2021. Prior to seminary, Jennifer received her BS in Business Administration from The University of Maryland, Global Campus as a military spouse overseas. She has been serving in churches and ministries since 2008, primarily as a leader of Bible Studies. Her household includes her husband Chris, son Matthew (a senior in college), daughter Sofia (a freshman in college), and several pets. When not at work, you’ll find Jennifer exploring parks, reading a book on the porch, or beating her siblings in fantasy football.

Ordained June, 2021
Amy was ordained a deacon on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation. She works at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center supporting the work of sun scientists. The youngest of four children, she was raised in western PA near Pittsburgh where she was baptized and began formation in the Presbyterian church. She served as a church organist since the age of fifteen until moving to Maryland after graduating from Duquesne University (B.S. in Secondary Education). Amy has been a high school English teacher, corporate trainer, answering service operator, title insurance processor, and administrative support staff. She proclaims the Gospel at worship services and draws the congregation into serving the community, especially in ways that alleviate suffering and minister to those in need. She and her husband, Charles, live in Elkridge. Her hobbies include cooking, writing, fiber arts, noir films, contemplative prayer, and walking.
